She is currently in the final year of studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences of UNSA, at the Department of Journalism, and at the same time she works in the marketing company MonetizeAd. In the meantime, she published a research paper on the topic of violence against women, covered by BHN. She is an athlete and activist, and prefers to spend time in the kickboxing hall.

Raising awareness of gender-based violence through the media
Media reports on gender-based violence are most often linked to murders, attempted murders, sexual harassment, and rape. We often see headlines such as ‘Drunk man imprisoned for abusing his wife.’ ‘Pregnant woman threatened and beaten,’ or ‘Woman killed out of jealousy.’ Such news related to gender-based violence can be found in media sources in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and the wider region.
